Gloucester Masters’ took a European relay record, swimming 5:06.65 in the 200+ yrs age group. Helen Kula-Przezwanski, Kate Nimmo, Sandra-Jane Jones and Jayne Ball all received a gold medal. Sandra-Jane Jones, Gloucester Team Captain, commented on their win: “We’re just absolutely delighted, we’ve trained very, very hard and we were hoping for a British record, so the European was the icing on the cake. “Masters events are great because they involve anybody regardless of age and ability, we have a large team here with people of all ages, so it’s just really nice to swim together.”
